Introducing the Youth Ambassador Advisory Team
Caroline Arnette has been selected as Lead Youth Ambassador. She was the first lead YA to be named to the Youth Ambassador Program. Caroline has demonstrated the ability to be an effective advocate in both the public and private sectors. She has showed that she can follow through and use critical thinking.
She will be doing the following: disseminating YA information to other YAs, assisting with offsite planning and organizing of events for the annual conference and with the training and sessions during the conference; making suggestions throughout the year for events that YAs can do for advocacy, and other duties as assigned by the YA directors.
Brandon Beck and Tori Williams have been selected as the Youth Ambassador Conference and Events Coordinators. This duo will collaborate with Caroline and the Youth Ambassador Directors throughout the year in event planning for youth affected by narcolepsy.
Brandon and Tori will enhance their leadership and communication skills while creating a positive impact within the Narcolepsy Network community and the communities in which Brandon and Tori live.
Lastly, Vanessa Waldman has bee selected as the Youth Ambassador Outreach and Communications Coordinator. Vanessa has been a YA since 2016. Her communication and social media skills, combined with her background in writing and photograph, will enhance the YA social media outreach efforts and special events across the country.
We are looking forward to the outreach and advocacy this talented team will launch. We know their hard work will create a positive impact in those with narcolepsy and other sleep disorders and in the communities in which they live.
