Thank You and Looking Ahead to 2026

December 22nd, 2025

As 2025 comes to an end, I want to take a moment and reflect on what this year has meant for our community. I’d also like to share a glimpse of what’s ahead for 2026, when we’ll celebrate our 40th anniversary.

This year, I was reminded time and again why this organization exists: to help you get the practical tools and information that you need to be successful in your life. To help you work with your doctor, to help you at your job, and to help others around you understand what you’re going through. And also to help you understand how, and why, you may want to consider participating in clinical trials to advance the breadth of treatment options available to our community.

From our annual conference in Minnesota, to the growing reach of our online education and webinars, we’ve seen meaningful engagement across our community. We’ve connected patients with trusted clinical education, amplified patient voices, and continued to show why Narcolepsy Network is a credible, steady presence in this space.

I also want to share an important update about our team: after 5 years of dedicated service, Amy Kant is stepping down from her role as Transition Director. Amy’s leadership helped guide Narcolepsy Network through a period of real change and growth, and her commitment to patients and families has left a lasting mark on this organization. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts.

Looking ahead, the Board will be formally launching a search for Narcolepsy Network’s next Executive Director in the first week of the new year. Finding our next staff leader will be a major focus for us in early 2026 and beyond—and an important moment for the organization as we prepare to enter our 40th year of service.

We will continue to deliver the core programming you count on: patient education, support resources, advocacy, and collaboration with clinicians and industry partners to expand treatment awareness and options.

Over the past five years, we’ve seen how powerful clinical education and thoughtful engagement can be. We’re reaching more people online than ever before, strengthening our digital offerings, and expanding webinars and virtual support so that geography is never a barrier to connection. These changes are about meeting patients where they are—and making sure Narcolepsy Network remains relevant, trusted, and forward-looking.

None of this happens without you. Your participation, trust, and your financial support are the reason this organization continues to move forward. If you’re able to give as we head into the new year, your support directly sustains this work—and helps ensure a strong foundation for what comes next.

As we look toward 2026, I’m filled with gratitude and optimism. This is a moment of transition, yes, but also one of opportunity. With your continued support, I’m confident that Narcolepsy Network’s next chapter will be an impactful one.

Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful holiday season and a healthy, hopeful new year.
