Support Us on #GivingTuesday
This year has been one to remember! While many of us are still struggling to find a new normal, we are proud of the programs we have developed during this trying time.
- We have been holding weekly virtual support group meetings on Thursday evenings. When feelings of isolation and loneliness are running high, these virtual meetings have been an important way to cope and stay connected.
- We held several virtual education webinars, including our Virtual Mini-Conference. These free webinars covered topics like how to tell your story, the latest medication updates, disability and narcolepsy, and so much more! Register for the December 5 Virtual Mini-Conference here.
- The new CONNECT program allows kids 8-13 to meet with other kids with narcolepsy, to share their experiences, and get advice from our Youth Ambassadors in a virtual setting.
- We started a cooking webinar series. The first one focused on easy breakfast meals that also give energy.
- The Youth Ambassador program went virtual this year. This allowed teens and young adults across the globe to develop themselves as advocates, share their experiences, and make connections with other teens and young adults with narcolepsy.
We hope to continue and nurture these programs to reach more PWNs. Your generosity helps us connect the narcolepsy community, dispel stereotypes, and shine a light on this invisible disorder. We hope you’ll remember us on #GivingTuesday, which will take place this year on December 1. #GivingTuesday is a day that is designed to promote global giving and to celebrate goodwill and kindness.
