Staff Update

November 18th, 2022

Those of you who attended the highly successful 36th Annual Narcolepsy Network Conference in Atlanta will already know that our Transition Director Amy Kant was unable to attend for medical reasons. Starting on November 21, 2021, Amy will be taking a temporary medical leave, and is looking forward to resuming her duties with us early in 2023.

We have a solid team who will lead and support our organization during this period. We will continue our planning for 2023, which will include our flagship annual in-person conference, webinars, education, support, and advocacy programs. Our board president, Keith Harper, will work with partners and community members. He will be assisted by our Operations and Program Manager Christine Hackenbruck. Christine will continue her regular duties while managing the day-to-day activities of Narcolepsy Network, and fielding requests that come to Amy Kant.

In this interim period, please do not hesitate to reach out to Keith or Christine. Our commitment as the only U.S. member-governed patient organization is to continue to support one another through our journey with narcolepsy. We look forward to working with you—there is so much we can do to connect, learn, and build awareness together!

Thank you,
