Annual Events
Join us at one of our annual events to raise awareness for this invisible disorder, and of course, have some fun!
Annual Conference
This is a weekend that is dedicated to people with narcolepsy (PWNs) and their friends and loved ones. We will have breakout sessions for just about everyone! Meet other people with narcolepsy and their supporters, learn about treatments, and hear the latest research developments. Learn more or get updates on this website.

We invite you to get involved by requesting that your state’s governor issue a proclamation officially recognizing Suddenly Sleepy Saturday. We also urge you to make a request at the local level to your city mayor or county council. See what proclamations were made last year or learn how you can get involved on this page.
Get involved by having your own event! Whether it’s a 5k or a charity night at a local restaurant, tell us about your event so we can help publicize it!
Day4NAPS
This day, happening this year on March
In conjunction with WSW, we dedicated this day to raise specific awareness about narcolepsy, a day for narcolepsy awareness projects, a Day4NAPS!
Suddenly Sleepy Saturday, also known as Narcolepsy Awareness Day, falls on the day before Americans turned their clocks ahead one hour for daylight savings time, a time when even those who do not have narcolepsy may experience sudden sleepiness or daytime drowsiness, just as people with narcolepsy do every day.
