Volunteer

Want to help Narcolepsy Network raise awareness and educate people about narcolepsy? There are plenty of ways you can help, and for some of them you don’t even have to leave the house!

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, get involved, and help out NN at the same time. While we can always use people to help out at the annual conference as room monitors, registration helpers, and bag stuffers, there are also plenty of opportunities closer to home.

Love to write or can easily spot a grammatical error? Have a unique narcolepsy story or experience? Contribute to our newsletter! Whether it’s snowmobiling, raising awareness as a Youth Ambassador, or getting creative, we’d love to hear about it. We even have a spot for works of art and poetry! Email [email protected] for more information.

You can also volunteer at events other than the conference, from our DREAM BIG! Walk to the annual Narcolepsy Bedrace, or at events put on by one of our support groups.

Plan a fundraising or awareness event! Planning an event can be a lot of fun and a great way to help out Narcolepsy Network. Events are a great way to raise awareness locally and educate people who might not be aware of narcolepsy but enjoy attending your event. See this link for suggestions on how to plan your event.
