Hi 2sleepy,
Sounds like your doctor may need to increase your meds. When I started on provigil, the doctors started me on 200mg, which did NOTHING for me. They kept adjusting the provigil to where I was taking 400mg in the AM and 100mg in the PM (afternoon). But this dose made my migraines worse, so they adjusted the meds again and added Adderall. My current dose is 400mg of provigil and 30mg of Adderall in the AM and 30mg of Adderall in the afternoon. The medication does help, but does not alleviate all my symptoms of narcolepsy. I still have at least 3 sleep attacks each day. I don't think any medication will alleviate all the symptoms, at least not for me.

I take 400mg of Provigil a day. I also started out on 200mg and had it increased after a month. I have an appointment next week with my doc to see what else he can suggest. I can still fall asleep if I allowed myself to.

I also take Provigil 400 in morning and 400 in afternoon. Get irritable and grumpy and nervous and anxious. What bothers me most is the Lock Jaw. Some days meds work and some days do Nothing. Have appointment in 2 weeks, can't wait to go, need a change can't take the lock jaw feeling no more.
