Hi,
I was diagnosed with N 38 years ago and have been on methamphetamine for most of that time. However, the last couple years I have rapidly developed Osteoporosis.
According to the literature, this can be a problem with the other amphetamines. I am wondering if perhaps if is better with them. Should I switch?
The Methamphetmine (60 mgs per day) works great and has no side effects, so I would hate to switch

Hi Major Funding!
Wow...you should really talk to your doctor about possibly going to a new med. So much has changed since you got diagnosed. The science has gotten better. The understanding has gotten better.
I know it's scary switching meds, but as much as you might fear a bad reaction, you could possibly in for a great upgrade, right?
Talk to your doctor about a medication upgrade, and ask your Primary Care person to hook you up with someone that knows Osteo (don't rely on your sleep doctor to know everything about your Osteo...like you wouldn't rely on your dentist to help out w/ a backache).
