I just stumbled across a device on the net called a "Doze alert." It's marketed to sleepy drivers. It looks like a hearing aid, in that it fits over and behind the ear. The ad states that it will make a buzzing noise if the person's head tilts as if nodding off. It costs $40 USD, and batteries are an additional $15 USD.

Before I spend money on this thing, has anyone else ever tried it? Is it useful?

I am not sure this would be helpful for me. I say that because just closing my eyes for a few moments is dangerous and my eyes close before I start to nod.
