hi. i got my xmas bonus afew weeks ago. ive been confused tho. apparently people are getting cold weather payments aswell cause of the bad weather we had but these are the same amounts as the xmas bonus. i have afew friends that have had cold weather payments so is it all the same that they are giving people but with differant names? or is some people missing payments others are getting? does anyone know?

I think the cold weather payment is for people on other benefits. You get the xmas bonus if you are on incapacity benefit or DLA. You only get one xmas bonus which ever benefit pays you the highest amount.
