Yes- but he's outside of Philadelphia. We didn't have luck with the pediatric sleep specialists at the regions great children's hospitals. This guy is a neuro/sleep specialist who treats many people with narcolepsy. His sleep center is not at a pediatric hospital, most of his patients are adults, but he does also see some children over age 5. We found him through asking people with narcolepsy who they went to & then asking if he would consider a young patient. He has been great with her- our first visit was age 11. Now she is 15. He is very much aware of her age & maturity level at each visit & is giving her increasing input into her treatment. He talks about trust & the medications having great abuse potential. "If I thought I couldn't trust you to use them responsibly, I wouldn't be able to prescribe them for you." He's talked to her about things like what to do about xyrem if you are at a sleepover, career planning, PMS affecting EDS, any and everything.
