I just wanted to know if the lactose ingredient in provigil (modafinil) or other drugs, is enough to affect lactose intollerants?
A small amount of lactose does not make a diffrence... but if its concentrated that would be a problem, i'm curious what to do in that situation, being lactose intollerant myself.

A lot of drugs use a lactose binder in them. I have had to call drug companies before to check on drugs my son takes since he is milk protein intolerant. The effects definitely would depend on your level of intolerance. I am lactose intolerant as well and have to take a drug that is sometimes manufactured with the lactose binder. If more than one company is making the drug you can request from the pharmacy to only be given the drug from the company that does not use the binder. Unfortunately you will have to do all of the research but it is worth the effort to feel better. I hope that helps.
