Columbia Journalism Review says Reuters’s description of narcolepsy is excessively bleak

In an article titled “Life after Pandemrix,” reporter Sara Morrison says that Reuters’s description of narcolepsy is excessively bleak.  The description appears in Reuter’s reporting on research showing a link between the Pandemrix swine flu vaccine and an increased rate of narcolepsy in children who received the vaccine, which was administered only in Europe.  Narcolepsy Network Executive Director Eveline Honig, MD, was interviewed for the piece.  Read the full story on the Columbia Journalism Review’s website.
